 The Skin Medica-Vitalize Peel® brings together the benefits of alpha-hydroxy and retinoic acids to create one of the strongest but safest and gentlest peels. The MicroPeel® Plus is designed to refine skin texture damaged by environmental factors and skin conditions such as acne. It is available in two concentrations of salicylic acid, the BioMedic MicroPeel Plus program allows you to tailor your treatment to fit your skin type and long term goals. Salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid, is found naturally in bark of willow tree, wintergreen leaves, and sweet birch bark. Formulations containing high concentrations of salicylic acid help slough off dead cells and debris while stimulating the skin’s naturally renewal process. TCA is a non-toxic chemical which promos skin smoothness and vitality. The function of a skin peel is create an even controlled shedding of several layers of damaged cells.
